Bäcksteinerhof is a small, family-run fruit and wine farm in Obermais, Merano. First mentioned in 1277, this historic hereditary farm is now run by the 13th generation of the family. Historic architecture meets contemporary design, new ideas and warm, personal hospitality.

A place for those who appreciate peace and quiet, romance, quality and having the city close by.

At Bäcksteinerhof, the day doesn’t begin at a buffet, but at a table set just for you.

You choose what you feel like in the morning – we prepare your breakfast fresh and serve it to you little by little. Breakfast is served in our historic rooms: the Meranerstube or the romantic fireside room.
