With us, you choose what you fancy in the morning. We prepare your breakfast for you and are happy to bring it directly to your table \u2013 piece by piece, just as it suits you. <\/p>\n

Perhaps it’s the homemade cake, a glass of juice from our own fruit, or the jam we made ourselves. Or the fresh farm butter from our friend in Sarntal, which might even evoke childhood memories. Often, it’s precisely these small things that make a morning special. <\/p>\n

We prefer to choose consciously, paying attention to freshness, origin, and taste, and preparing what truly brings joy. Some things come directly from our farm, others from people and businesses whose products we know and value. <\/p>\n

This way, food can be something special again \u2013 instead of just part of the largest possible selection.<\/p>\n

And because we only prepare and serve what is actually desired, we can work more carefully, ensure greater freshness, and at the same time handle food more consciously.<\/p><\/div> <\/div>\n\n \n \n

Wo es m\u00f6glich ist, bevorzugen wir Produkte direkt vom Hof. Unsere Eier etwa kommen gro\u00dfteils das ganze Jahr \u00fcber von den eigenen H\u00fchnern \u2013 nur wenige Meter vom Fr\u00fchst\u00fcckstisch entfernt. Echte Null-Kilometer-Ware.\r\nDoch guter Geschmack endet f\u00fcr uns nicht an einer Kilometergrenze. So d\u00fcrfen zum Beispiel auch ausgew\u00e4hlte K\u00f6stlichkeiten aus S\u00fcditalien ihren Weg auf unseren Fr\u00fchst\u00fcckstisch finden, wenn Qualit\u00e4t, Reife und Geschmack \u00fcberzeugen.<\/p> <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/article>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Breakfast with a sense of place<\/h2>\n

Auch der Raum geh\u00f6rt f\u00fcr uns zu einem guten Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck.<\/p>\n

Unsere Zimmerg\u00e4ste beginnen den Tag in der historischen Meraner Stube von 1808. Ein Raum mit Geschichte \u2013 und mit einer ganz besonderen Verbindung zu unserer Familie.<\/p>\n

Im Jahr 1908 erwarb unser Gro\u00dfvater die originale Meraner Stube aus einem der damaligen Meraner Gasth\u00e4user, das seine Einrichtung verkaufte. Die Stube wurde dunkel lackiert und anschlie\u00dfend in das Wohnhaus des B\u00e4cksteinerhofs eingebaut.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr die damals rund 15-k\u00f6pfige Familie war sie weit mehr als nur ein sch\u00f6ner Raum: Sie war der einzige beheizte Raum des Hauses und damit \u00fcber viele Jahre der Mittelpunkt des Familienlebens. Hier wurde gegessen, zusammengesessen, erz\u00e4hlt und so mancher sch\u00f6ne Moment miteinander geteilt.<\/p>\n

Als das alte Wohnhaus in den 1970er-Jahren abgerissen wurde, verschwand die Stube f\u00fcr einige Jahrzehnte in einem Abstellraum. Sp\u00e4ter wurde sie von Restauratoren in liebevoller Handarbeit wieder zum Leben erweckt und schlie\u00dflich als Fr\u00fchst\u00fccksraum in den B\u00e4cksteinerhof integriert.<\/p>\n

Heute sitzen unsere G\u00e4ste dort, wo schon Generationen vor ihnen zusammengekommen sind \u2013 und beginnen ihren Tag an einem gedeckten Fr\u00fchst\u00fcckstisch.<\/strong><\/p> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

the Fireplace Room<\/h2>\n

The guests of our lofts have breakfast in the romantic Fireplace Room in the historic Stadel \u2013 a room that tells much of the history of our farm.<\/p>\n

This was once the living quarters of the farm worker known as the “feeder,” the employee who took care of the animals on the farm. Right next door, hay was stored in the Stadel, and below were the stables. When livestock farming was abandoned in the 1970s and the farm switched to fruit growing, the Stadel lost its original purpose and remained largely unused for many years. <\/p>\n

Only in 2023 did the younger generation begin to breathe new life into it. During the careful renovation, the historic exterior walls, facade, and roof truss were completely preserved. Inside, a modern KlimaHaus A was created, without losing the original character of the Stadel. <\/p>\n

Today, the Fireplace Room is located where the former feeder’s dwelling was \u2013 a breakfast and lounge area for the guests of our two lofts. The wooden staircase was crafted from the old floorboards of the original Stadel bridge, and when the fire flickers in the wood stove, the history of the old Stadel is not only visible: you can feel it and even touch it. <\/p>\n

Thus, each breakfast gets its fitting setting: personal, steeped in history, and with enough time to simply enjoy the morning.<\/strong><\/p> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

Because we personally prepare your breakfast for you, we can also accommodate special requests and intolerances.<\/p>\n

Whether lactose-free, gluten-free, or for specific food allergies \u2013 if you inform us in advance, we will gladly prepare for it. Oat drink instead of cow’s milk, gluten-free rolls, or gluten-free muesli, for example, are easily possible. <\/p>\n

It is important to us that in the morning you don’t just find something you can eat, but receive a breakfast that suits you, tastes good to you, and does you good.<\/p>\n

We only ask that you inform us of any special dietary needs as early as possible before your arrival, so that we have enough time to prepare everything for you.<\/p> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n
